GM:S 1.4 and GMS 2 compatible.

This asset is a complete engine for a top down shooter game for 1-4 local players using gamepads, eg. Xbox or PlayStation.

Features:

• Automatically recognize connection and disconnection of gamepads
• Move and rotate players with thumbsticks
• Movement speed dependent on orientation of thumbstick
• Shoot with the trigger. Gamepad vibration on damage
• Pause menu with thumbstick and D-pad selection
• Check for gamepad type (Xbox/PlayStation)
• Easy to build upon or add support for an additional 2 players or change to a singleplayer game
• Clear, concise commenting to help understand how everything works

Note: only tested with Xbox One controllers on Windows and HTML5
