Supports GMS1.4 and GMS2.0
FAQ: What is the benefit of this extension over others on the Marketplace? This implementation is suitable for fast paced, information-heavy, real-time online games. Other extensions do not offer this. This means it is suitable to online platformers, shooters, and MMORPG's. It can also be used to develop more low-fi applications, for example a chat app.
Run Multiplayer matches for your Android game without complicated network code or server hosting! This extension uses Google's Realtime API and hence requires the user to have a Google Play account.
Easily create a match and have online players be connected to an individual level or character role, and send and receive buffers to do the communication in Asynchronous events.
More documentation is to come as a free update, however the extension includes a demo with easily understandable source that demonstrates most aspects of the system.
DEMO: Try out the Realtime Top Down Shooter Demo to see the implementation in action. (Please Note: You cannot verse yourself in a multiplayer match with the same Google Play account. At least two different Google Play accounts and phones are needed for the demo to work)
