Loading Screen is a collection of functions that allow you to easily index and preload the texture pages you need for any given room with a fancy progress bar, rather than loading the sprites on the fly during gameplay – which can cause problematic or frustrating pauses in-game.
Flushing and reloading texture pages is an important optimisation task for big games, particularly on tablet/mobile platforms.
It isn’t necessary for Windows, but it won’t throw any errors if you use it on Windows either.
